BRAND PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN FOLKESTONE, KENT

Hey! My name’s Amy. I’m a business and personal brand photographer based on the edge of Kent in Folkestone. I am passionate about creating a happy and joyful experience for all my clients and their teams. Photography doesn’t have to be awkward and stale. I’m here to mix it up and encourage you to show off your unique brand values.  I’m a massive nerd. I’m always reading or listening to audiobooks. My favourite things to do are photography (of course), searching for pretty rocks on the beach and spending an excessive amount of time cooking new recipes.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

I’ve been taking photos since I can remember, starting off in school, harassing my friends with my tiny red compact camera. Phone cameras were awful back then so it was the best option for collecting memories. From there I realised how much I loved thinking more creatively about posing and composition. I started to style shoots with my friends and my love grew from there.

I officially started my business in 2015 and have built up my experience working with various photographers and my own clients who have been so supportive along this journey. In late 2018 in took the leap to go full time with my business and I would never turn back. I’m more inspired than I have ever been and look forward to creating magic every day!

MY APPROACH

So what is natural personal brand photography all about? My style is very relaxed and genuine. While I’ll tell you where to stand I’ll then just use simple prompts or tell awful jokes to get a smile or the reaction I need. I don’t micro-manage every image because I don’t believe that’s the way to get the best out of you. If you don’t finish the shoot with a bigger smile than you came in with I haven’t done my job right.

My ideal client just wants to have a bit of fun and not want to be posed all the time but trust me to help them create some awesome natural images to treasure for years to come. From small creative agencies to entrepreneurs and big corporates, my clients are driven, honest and unique. It’s important to me that we click as that’ll help us create the best images for your business! Photography is so much more than just a snapshot. It’s the moments before that help to create a lasting impression and show your business’ true personality.
