Hey! I'm Amy, a business, personal brand and event photographer based in Folkestone, Kent. I'm passionate about creating happy and joyful experiences in front of the camera for all my clients and their teams; making sure everyone feels comfortable and confident. Photography doesn’t have to be awkward and stale, I’m here to mix it up and encourage you to show off your unique brand values. I’m a massive nerd. I’m always reading or listening to audiobooks. My favourite things to do are photography and content creation (of course), annoying my cat Moth and spending an excessive amount of time cooking new recipes.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
I’ve been taking photos since I can remember, starting off in school, harassing my friends with my tiny red compact camera. Phone cameras were awful back then so it was the best option for collecting memories. From there I realised how much I loved thinking more creatively about posing and composition. I started to style shoots with my friends and my love grew from there.
In 2015 I started to pursue my career in photography, building up experience working with great photographers and mentors. I started to build my client list and in late 2018 I took the leap to go full time with my own business. It was the greatest decision and I’m more inspired than I've ever been and look forward to creating magic every day!
MY APPROACH
So what is natural personal brand photography all about? My style is very relaxed and genuine, building space for you to be yourself in front of the lens. While I’ll tell you where to stand I’ll then just use simple prompts or tell awful jokes to get a smile or the reaction I need. I don’t micro-manage every image because I don’t believe that’s the way to get the best out of you. If you don’t finish the shoot with a bigger smile than you came in with I haven’t done my job right.

My ideal client just wants to have a bit of fun and doesn't want to be posed all the time but they trust me to help them create some awesome natural images they'll treasure for years to come.
